Iván Ferreiro is Galician, singer, songwriter and part time pianist. During the 90’s led Los Piratas, one of the most representative rock bands of the decade. In 2005 he started his solo career, and has completed a solid discography to date, where the mainstream universe and the indie community co-exist in an unprecedented harmony. He has survived beyond tags and that fact has allowed him to be between openly commercial proposals and alternative spots. Iván will present us “CASA”, his sixth solo album, at ROOM FESTIVAL.
JAIME BUENAVENTURA | 20.00 H
Jaime Buenaventura (Madrid, 8 September 1991) is a musician and pop-rock singer with influences such as Andrés Calamaro, Wilco and Iván Ferreiro, among others.
Born in Madrid but raised in the Madrid town of Majadahonda, Jaime Buenaventura already had his first band, Gritos de Mimo, back in 2008, where he shared experiences for more than 7 years with Varo Brandariz and Leonard Piscoya, guitar and drums respectively. Together they recorded two studio albums written and arranged entirely by Jaime Buenaventura, which was singer and bassist at that time.
After this, he started a retirement process in order to focus on his studies. He got his degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication in 2015. That same year, the songs of his first EP “Resiliencias”, began to take shape, all composed, recorder and produced from his room.
In September 2016, Jaime Buenaventura is made known to the public with his first single “Cansado de Escribirte”. A song that evokes the guitar sounds of eighties bands, inspired on The Cure, and tells us a sharp and ironic story about heartbreak and disappointment.
Jaime Buenaventura, the most genuine rock with his band, formed by Dani Napolitano (drums), Jose Young (bass), Javi Giralte (guitar) y Juanan Marín (keyboard).
